Farmdale Elementary is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World Primary Years Program (PYP) school. All students who are enrolled at our school are part of the IB Primary Years Program. Additionally, we proudly offer the following programs:

Dual Language Two Way Immersion in Spanish: for English Speakers and English Learners

Language and Literacy in English Acceleration Program: for English Learners only

Mainstream English Program: for English Speakers and English Learners with reasonable fluency in English

Expanded Transitional Kindergarten (ETK): for children who will turn 5 years old between December 2020 and June 30, 2021.
If we are not your school of residence, we accept various permits including permits for the IB and Dual Language programs.

Below you can find more detailed information on the instructional program options for English Learners. Currently, Farmdale does NOT offer the Dual Language One-Way Immersion Program, however, we proudly offer the Dual Language Two-Way Immersion Program. How to Enroll
Below are the instructions on how to enroll your student at Farmdale for the 2020-21 school year.
New Student
Parents/guardians can utilize the pre-enrollment application for new students attending their school of residence and entering Transitional Kindergarten (TK) / Kindergarten through 12th grade, by clicking here.
In addition to the online pre-enrollment application, we are offering alternative methods for enrollment. You may also download, print and fill out the Enrollment Forms below and then contact Farmdale directly at (323) 222-6659 to schedule an appointment to drop off the Enrollment Forms. Please contact us for information on alternative methods.

Expanded Transition Kinder, Choice Program, Zone of Choice, Permits
The online pre-enrollment application portal above does not support enrollment applications for:
• Expanded Transitional Kindergarten (ETK)
• Choice programs (Magnet, Open Enrollment, Dual-Language)
• Zone of Choice (ZOC) areas
• Permits
